さて今日もTOEFLに向けて勉強しましたよ。
英作文です。今日のテーマはいじめ。

We should admit the fact that the number of youth who suffer from bullying is increasing. Bullying at school is becoming worse.
With the progress of technology, new types of bullying have been emerging. At school, there are four types of bullying.
The first one is that of using physical violence. This type is the simplest and clearest. Stronger people bully weaker ones.
Group bullies one person. This type has been seen for a long time.
The second type is that of using words. Bullies point out the victims’ weaknesses of their body and personality. Bully using word leave victims deep scars. Sometimes this is crueler than the first one.
The third one is just ignoring the victims. It is hard to be ignored by your classmates at school. Even children who don’t hate victims participate in bullying, fearing being ignored by classmates. What is worse is there are bullies who don’t be aware of their participation in bullying.
The fourth type of bullying uses smartphones and the Internet. The progress of technology makes a new type of bullying: cyberbullying. Bullies exchange slanderous messages among their friends and send them to victims. They write slanderous messages on a message board on the Internet. It is this type of bullying that is difficult to find out bullies. Victims feel uneasy because they have no idea of the person who writes them.
These types of bullying are possible to lead to the suicide of victims. Bullies should know the word “Don’t do others what you would feel bad about.”

答えなどを見ながら、振り返った分がこちら。自分の確認用がメインです。

悪質はviciousを用いるようです。
With the progress of technology, new types of bullying have been emerging. At school, there are four types of bullying.
技術発達は大矢の参考書だとdevelopmentではなくprogressでいいと思う。
The first one is that of using physical violence. This type is the simplest and clearest. Stronger people bully weaker ones.
はっきりする、はmost obvious.Group bullies one person. This type has been seen for a long time.
すーーっとはthoroughout history と呼ぶらしい。
The second type is that of using words verbal bullies. Bullies point out the victims’ weaknesses defects of their body and personality. Bully using word leave victims with deep scars. Sometimes this is crueler than the first one.
・「言葉の」はverbal なので、verbal bullying が正しい。
・欠点は、「weekness」ではなく、「defect」を用いるようです。
・深い傷を残すは、leave A with B の構文。withが欠落している。
The third one is just ignoring the victims. It is hard to be ignored by your classmates at school. Even children who don’t hate victims participate join in bullying, fearing being ignored by classmates. What is worse is there are bullies who don’t be aware of their participation in bullying.
・辛い、はhardではなく、painful の模様。
・「参加する」は JOINで良い模様。

第300回TOEIC結果発表
そういえば最近2年ぶりに第300回のTOEICを受けまして、結果が返ってきたのでご共有
リスニングが確かに結構手応えあったのですが、ここまで撮れているとは、、、！嬉しいです！ちょっと前までリーディングの勉強してたのにおかしいなぁと思いつつですが笑
TOEFLリスニング
というわけでどんなリスニング対策しているの？といがあると思うのですが、基本的には毎日TEDtalk見てるぐらいです。朝45分ぐらい。
スクリプトなしで聞く→ありで聞く→なぜ聞けなかったのかを考える。
みたいな感じ。たくさん英語に触れることがやっぱり大事なのかなぁとこのスコア見てると感じます。確かに最近少し聞きやすくなった気がする。
それでは引き続き頑張っていきましょう。
